Pan's Labyrinth 9.6/10 Is the best fantasy film I’ve ever watched, is so cruel and sad, reflected in colors and camera position, this move unlike other films in the same genre which fear adult content that certainly make this movie more human and realistic despite being a epic fantasy. Directed by: Gillermo Del Toro

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl 8.1/10 This movie should not be this good, with a strong narrative, great immersion, and snappy characters and CG that still holds up. Directed by: Gore Verbinski

Frankenstein (2025)

Frankenstein 6.9/10 This adaptation of Frankenstein is a creative and imaginative take that takes liberties and ignores certain tones from the book. Characters are rather juvenile and flat, and dialogue feels more like theatre with people reading poetry (one character, while dying, is reciting an eloquent and articulated goodbye phrase), though the creature's design gets better. At the beginning looks too perfect and rather pretty for a monster; the fantasy elements are a weak aspect that takes away the interesting Sci-Fi elements, a rather juvenile take on the classic that has creative ideas. Directed by: Guillermo Del Toro

Incendies (2010) 8.9/10 A villeneuve Film with all his characteristic tones and camera games, telling a story difficult to stick but that is the purpose of it, telling you a awkward and horrible story. Directed by: Denis Villeneuve

The Peanut Movie (2015)

The Peanut Movie 7.4/10 This Charlie Brown's segmented stories are an amazing work, even though it barely feels like a feature movie; the animation, voices, and most aspects felt true to the material, the only thing is that Snoopy's scenes felt like filler. Directed by: Steve Marino

The Devil's Backbone or El espinazo del diablo (2001)

The Devil's Backbone El Espinazo del Diablo 8.6/10 This film is a rare experiment between horror, terror, and drama it gives you goosebumps every time you see the phantom and the photography and soundtrack make this a rare masterpiece. Directed by: Guillermo Del Toro

Blade Runner 2049 (2017)

Blade Runner 2049 9.3/10 This sequel has a better script and better story than for sure and continues with philosophical issues that bugged us back in the 80's Directed by: Denis Villeneuve

Pinocchio (2022)

Pinocchio 8.9/10 The retailing of the popular story with an unexpected turn... The lesson. This film has a lot to go for from visual appealingness, amazing characters, and pacing for them to develop to the lesson that consists of being true to oneself and being the little puppet the one top teach lessons to others and not the other way around. Directed by: Guillermo Del Toro
