The film is an evolution of what the previous tried to tackle, it is rare that in the universe another conspiracy was solved by the same guys, and Nick had some character alteration to fit the new message of the movie regarding teamwork, but in the end it made for an enjoyable film where the world expanded both in lore and themes.
