Melancholia
6.8/10
This film is unbearable, and my burden is whether it is by design or not.
This movie has me put through some white, wealthy people shenanigans and trying to empathize with a self-absorbed, spineless, inconsiderate, stupid woman; I feel no sympathy nor sorrow for that absolute garbage of a woman. This film, like Another Round (2020), just proves that white European people can’t look beyond their noses, thinking the universe orbits around their puny first-world problems.
The second part is absurdly distinct, and it shows it is a very good part; the first part could have been condensed into 15 minutes, leaving more time for the second part and the dread of imminent death. This film is wrought witha parasite called part I
