A Movie that I do not get.
Infierno I do get: a Neo-Western with a lot of irony and black comedy. This tries to be a drama, a parody, but compared to what came before from Estrada, where there was an unfolding strong plot with a potent social commentary, this movie is a spread-out social commentary with a story attached to it.
The movie is not subtle; the irony becomes a cheap parody at times; the characters are flat (either by design or not) and exposition is bad. This film felt like a studio intervention, which I cannot confirm.
