The fi was not well received by the critics and I can see why, the janky mise en scene shots, and the overused narration by the narrator but they got how well made the other sides were.
The way France in the 18th century was a feat, the repulsive nature of the poor hygiene condition lived in the age made the movie so immersive, the CGI was spot on accompanied by a great sense of architecture and the clothing is just top-notch,
The actors were amazing, from Dustin Huffman to Alan Rick are incredible.
