This sequel is a stepdown to the previous one but remarkably is the one with the climax.
The first thing to note is how some characters from the previous film are back but new ones are introduced rapidly with exposition, important characters that should have appeared way before like the kings and princes are just now introduced but some are somehow introduced smoothly.
the animation is the same but with a remarkably sticking beautiful melody.
The film really ends characters arcs abruptly that were meant to have more weight and relevance, not to say that some characters change design due to the pass of time and become unrecognizable.
But at the end the story is complete and gives you much to think and meditate.
