The Lion King
9.6/10This film marks an epic resurrection in animation, and in 1994, it showed kids and grown-ups that animation is a medium.
Despite many loopholes, a lack of internal logic, and a peculiar hierarchy where animals hail their predators, this film is a masterpiece.
3D Version
The 3D version of this film really caught my attention, since how can a hand-drawn animation be converted into a stereoscopic 3D with depth?
The result is an interesting experiment, since the process was meticulously done alongside the original team, which resulted in a net positive outcome, but nothing more. This film does not need nor benefit from 3D.
