The film is the best adaptation of King Kong.
The film was an auteur work but nevertheless, it felt short when it came to how the movie never explains the crucial parts shown in the film downplays the death of people treats them as just extras dying without having weight to it and just being to scale up the stakes.
A movie that if it was treated in a more relaxed less blockbuster way could have made a great film.
