This might just be Miyazaki´s Magnus Opus considering is the most personal one and the one film where financing did not present artistic restrictions or deadlines from executives.
the story is paced accordingly, the animation is the best the studio has ever seen and the characters as well.
It is the best part of all previous films presented in an intimate animated film.
