Silence (2016)

Silence

9.6/10
The most intimate film by Scorsese.
The characters and themes are an expression of the auteur's psyche as he has said before.
The movie explores faith and symbols, stubbornness, cruelty, and of course beliefs.
The depiction of Japan was on top, and the acting was extreme where actors like Andrew and Adam starved to accommodate the characters.
Directed by: Martin Scorsese
